Buhl Quilt Update and Farmer's Market from Log Cabin Quilter

March found me still working on the top border for the Buhl quilt.  The monthly patterns have divided the borders into parts so the applique is manageable to be able to accomplish before the next set of patterns is available.  This month, I added the flower on the left and two flowers on the right hand side.

Happy New Year - Update On Buhl Quilt from Log Cabin Quilter

Happy New Year!  Even though I am writing this at 8:50 pm on New Year's Eve, I am hearing fire crackers go off.  That will go on until after midnight.  I feel sorry for the pets that are afraid of the noise.

The snowman quilt is what is now displayed on the large footstool in the family room. It is not a new quilt.   I made it in 2013 from a Joined At the Hip pattern.

Buhl Quilt from Log Cabin Quilter

The first part of the left border for the Buhl quilt.  The pattern is being sold by the Virginia Quilt Museum.  I am enjoying working with a bit brighter palette than I often use.
